Mary O’Keeffe, East Falmouth, MA, joined the Board of Directors in May 2024. She started volunteering at Family Table Collaborative in January 2023, and quickly became a valuable asset in the kitchen and Front of House. A self-proclaimed “Foodie,” Mary saw the opportunity to blend her love of food with her long commitment of helping others. 

 

With a thirty-one year career in telecommunications in her rearview mirror, her role at FTC has expanded as she brings a wealth of experience in community and public relations, graphic design and photography, marketing and development, and employee management and training. In a sense, she’s come full circle, having waitressed summers on Cape Cod while in college.

 

Mary traveled to Europe and Africa with Jeni Wheeler in early 2024.  The highlights of their trip included a meeting with the World Food Programme at the United Nations in Nairobi, Kenya and meetings with international food security agencies.
