Pan Mass Challenge donated their leftover food to the Family Table Collaborative (“FTC”). CapeAbilities Farm loaned us their refrigerated truck to take in the 2,700lbs! A group of our AMAZING volunteers met at FTC, unloaded it all and made sure it got put away and a plan for its use was made!
It takes a village to do what we do, and we sure do love ours! We are built on our community partnerships, and the bedrock that allows us to exist, our volunteers! This food will do so much for our entire community!
Not all food is created equally, and it matters, because healthier people create healthier communities!
